In our ongoing efforts to maintain a secure and efficient work environment, we have implemented a policy concerning the disposal of old IT equipment. This policy aims to uphold the integrity of company data and ensure equitable treatment of all employees.

Key Points

No Old Equipment for Personal Use: Employees are not permitted to take home old computers, monitors, or any other company-owned IT equipment for personal use.

Data Security: To ensure all company data is securely erased, we have partnered with certified e-cycling companies. They are responsible for wiping all computer drives and securely disposing of the equipment.

System Integrity: Older equipment disconnected from our network may experience operating system failures, rendering them unusable.

Exceptions:

Personal Hygiene Items: Employees may be allowed to keep items such as headsets, mice, and keyboards mice for hygiene reasons.
