Employee-Owner Name Change
- Sign into https://pmxexch04.parametrix.com/ecp/ with your s-account
- Once signed in go to Recipients > Mailbox > Search for user > Open their account settings
- In the new window that pops up click on Email Address, create the two following email addresses
- First initial + new last name @parametrix.com
- First initial + new last name @parametrix.mail.onmicrosoft.com
- Once created, scroll down on the Email Address page and uncheck the Automatic update email.. box then select the newly created first initial + last name @parametrix.com email
- Click on the General tab and change the last name and logon name
- In Active Directory, find and select the AD object then hit F2 and replace the last name
- This should open a new window where you’ll verify all fields have the correct last name
- Also change the user logon name and user logon name (pre-windows 2000)

User logon name (pre-Windows 2000) formatting should be first 5 of last name then first 3 of first name
- Change Email field in Active Directory, this field is referenced by Hub.
- If applicable, rename the H-drive folder on \\azrfile01 then update the field in AD to reference the new folder location
- Have user sign out of the laptop, sign in as Other User, then sign in with the new email address to confirm the changes to the profile were successful
- Reach out to someone from HR, current contact is Becca Enyeart, to have her update the email address in ADP and BST
- Test emailing all email aliases to confirm mail flow
- Have Becca Enyeart send new information to Brian Morkert so that Brian can reprovision SSO
- Wifi issues - Need to find solution
- Reach out to Ben to have their Concur username updated
There is a propagation period where our on-prem Exchange server syncs to O365 so certain services like OneDrive, might be affected. Files saved to OneDrive will still work on their machine, just they won’t be syncing to the cloud until the propagation is complete.
NOTE: Personal OneDrive path will change so if the user is utilizing OneNote workbooks that are saved to OneDrive then their syncs will be broken. You'll need to open the OneNote workbooks again with the new URL and then close all the workbooks with the old URL.
