Open Display Settings
Click the Start button, then select Settings (gear icon).
Navigate to System > Display.

Identify Your Displays
You’ll see a visual layout of your connected monitors. Click the Identify button if you're unsure which screen is which. Numbers will briefly appear on each screen to help you organize them correctly.

Select Multiple Displays Settings
Scroll down and locate the Multiple displays section. Click to expand it if it’s collapsed.

Choose Display Mode
From the dropdown menu, select Extend these displays. This will allow you to spread your desktop across all connected monitors.

Remember window locations based on monitor connection: Enable this to keep apps opening where you last used them.

Minimize windows when a monitor is disconnected: Turn this on if you want open windows to automatically minimize when a monitor is unplugged.

Apply the Changes
Click Apply to save your settings. You may need to confirm the changes within 15 seconds.
